OBJECTIVE
To develop a name and design for a collection of dry wines.
A new wine range for Podgoria Vin, a producer from the southern part of Moldova, owning some of the most extensive vineyard plantations in the country.
PROBLEM
Podgoria Vin is a large, full-cycle winery, yet a family-run business managed by a dynasty of winemakers. The company owns some of the largest vineyard plantations in the country, enabling the production of high-quality and diverse wines.
The company’s portfolio includes several wine collections, yet it clearly lacks a “flagship” — a brand that could be perceived as the primary one, capable of shaping the company’s long-term reputation.
SOLUTION

At the agency, the name, slogan and visual identity for a new wine brand — Aborigi — were developed. The brand name connects the creators of the wines with the terroir where they originate.
Aborigi is a brand rooted in its homeland — a story inseparably connected to its native land, as well as to the past and present of the people who inhabit it.

In the design of Aborigi wines, the brand’s historical “lineage” is harmoniously expressed through contemporary print techniques, bridging the past and the present.

“Where wine is born” is not just a slogan of the ABORIGI brand, nor merely an element of the label design. It is the brand’s core message, whose significance is hard to overestimate for the creators of these wines — a family of winemakers whose lives have been intertwined for generations with this land and with the traditions of Moldovan winemaking.
